Forest Carbon: In Tune with Nature
The carbon credit market has been shaken by mistrust, but Forest Carbon had a bigger story to tell—one rooted in integrity, science, and the living heartbeat of nature. Our challenge was to move beyond spreadsheets and green clichés, and instead capture the real, tangible vitality of restored ecosystems. The breakthrough came with bioacoustics: the science of measuring forest health through sound. Our design team built an identity quite literally “In Tune with Nature,” translating recordings of Southeast Asian species into dynamic Chladni patterns that visualise biodiversity’s return. This sonic-led design system fused science and art—flowing letterforms inspired by rainforest roots, typography echoing musical notation, and a colour palette drawn from tropical life. I led the creative tech team that worked out the algorithms and built custom set ups in Touch Designer in order to make the identity truly reactive to real sound recordings.
